Radach University and Liberty University
We are excited to announce that on April 4 Radach University was accepted by Liberty University as a sister University. More details are coming soon!
Eager Students
Many students in Ghana and various West African countries are eager and ready to attend Radach University. They have been calling the chancellor and sharing with him how they wish they could already be studying at the university this year. Radach University intends to welcome students in September 2011. Would you like to help make this dream come true for young people in Africa? Contact us to find out how you can support Radach University.
Mathematics Professor
Last week a Ghanaian mathematics professor came to visit Radach University’s chancellor. The professor expressed his willingness to be on the Radach University staff or to help in any way he can. Step by step, this center for academic excellence is becoming a reality.
Enthusiastic Support
People around the world have expressed enthusiastic support for Radach University—and their actions back up their words. A woman in America recently sold her wedding ring and donated the proceeds to the university. Her husband also supported her in this generous act. Contact us if you want to learn why people believe in Radach University’s mission so strongly that they are willing to give their sacrificial support.
Tree Planting
A team of ten workers just completed planting several thousand mahogany and teak trees at the site of Radach University. The trees form two rows along the perimeter of the 320 acre property. The plants are growing well. We are one step closer to the university being ready!
New Roads!
The local government has generously begun the main access road to Radach University property and is also building two small bridges at a total cost of over $500,000. This generous community support is astounding and shows promise for Radach University’s future. Radach University is committed to investing in its community, and the community’s investment is a tremendous asset toward its success.
An Open Door
Ghana has a growing population of students. 73% of the country's population is less than 30 years old and 50% is less than 15 years old. The Ghanaian government provides tuition-free primary and junior secondary education, but does not have enough teachers and facilities to accommodate all of its students. Furthermore, many students do not have the money they need to buy their school supplies and uniforms.
Dorm Supplies
A university in the United States has generously offered to help Radach University furnish its dorms! It is sending 50 bunk beds, 70 double mattresses, and 50 dorm desks and chairs. It is also providing a 5,000-lb 60 kw diesel generator that has only been used twice and is still like-new. These supplies will go a long way to making Radach University a reality! Thank you!
A new educational opportunity in west Africa
Radach University will open its doors, with God's grace, in 2010. Until then we will continue to lay the foundation stones of this new institution in west Africa that will provide opportunities in eight different fields of study: agriculture; applied sciences and environment; business management; computer science; inter-cultural studies; languages; nursing; and social sciences.
The 320 acre location for the campus has been acquired -- see the campus site photos above for an initial look at the property. Then watch as new photos are posted that will show excavation, site development, and ultimately the new campus buildings.
This website will provide a progress report on the development of Radach University. Regular updates will display how God's provision is turning the idea of Radach University into a reality for hundreds, and ultimately thousands of west Africans.
This new university is a God-sized project that will attract partners from all over the world. The goal of this website is to attract potential partners, provide them with the information they need to realize that partnership, and facilitate the exercise of that partnership through financial or other support.
If such a partnership focused on establishing educational opportunities in Africa is of interest to you, please let us know by using our Contact Form, We look forward to hearing from you.
In the meantime, check back here at Radach University frequently to see our progress.
